Fun Day Fun Days are gatherings of club members to socialize, share food and have fun with our dogs. We have a variety of fun activities to show off our dogs, and there is usually a small raffle. Please bring a small item for the raffle if you can. It is all very low key and non competitive and is a great way for the dogs to socialise with others of the same size. We usually start with a pot luck lunch around 12 noon or so and finish up around 3-4 pm and it is a casual and friendly affair which is enjoyed by owners and dogs! Have a look at our Photo Album
Ribbon Parade
A Ribbon Parade is a more formal event sponsored by the club. Participants DO NOT have to be member of the NZ Kennel Club and there are categories for neutered and spayed dogs. The ribbons are awarded for different age groups and genders with group winners and an overall winner. There is a small fee of a few dollars for entry per class.

Championship Show
A Championship Show is the most formal event sponsored by the club. Participants MUST be members of the NZ Kennel Club and the dogs MUST be registered with the NZ Kennel Club. Competitors come from all over the South Island for this show, which is a great opportunity to observe excellent dogs and talk directly to the breeders.
